Live video call basics
How does the virtual Santa call work?
Book a time online, then tell us your child's name, age, wish list and a few fun facts. Your Google Meet link is emailed right away, and you get a reminder before the call. At the time you chose, click the link and Santa will be there. See the full walk-through.
How long is the call and what does it cost?
Each live Santa video call is 10 minutes, one-on-one, for $39. You pay in full when you book.
Is this a Zoom call?
It works like a Zoom call, but we use Google Meet. You just click your link. No account is needed.
Is Santa a real person?
Yes. Our Santa is a real-beard Santa in a velvet suit, and he joins every call live.
What will Santa talk about with my child?
The call is a friendly conversation and meet-and-greet. Because you share your child's name, age, wish list and fun facts when you book, Santa can talk with them about the things they care about.
Is the call live or pre-recorded?
The video call is live. Santa talks with your child in real time, so he can respond to what they say. If you would rather have a recording, the personalized Santa video message is a pre-recorded video made for your child.
Can my child ask Santa questions?
Yes. It is a two-way conversation, so your child can ask questions, answer his, and tell him about their year. The list of things to ask Santa can help.
Can siblings be on the same call?
Siblings are welcome to be on the call. The booking form takes one child's name, age and wish list, so put your other children's names, ages and a wish or two in the "fun facts" box and Santa can greet them too. The call is still 10 minutes in total.
Can parents and family sit with my child during the call?
Parents and family members are welcome to sit with your child at home, which often helps younger kids feel comfortable. The call is built around your child's conversation with Santa.
Booking, pricing and timing
When are live calls available?
Calls run from November 28 to December 24, 2026, at limited times (Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and weekend mornings, Pacific time). Times are limited, so book early.
How do I book?
Choose "Book your call" on this page, pick an available time and fill in your child's details. Your Meet link arrives by email right away.
How much does a Santa video call cost?
A live call is $39 for 10 minutes, paid in full at booking. A personalized video message is $19.
When do I pay?
The live call is paid in full at booking, so your time is held as soon as you check out.
Can I book a call for Christmas Eve?
Calls run through December 24, but times are limited and the best ones go first. Read about Christmas Eve calls, then check the booking page for open times.
Can I book a call outside the United States?
Our calls and video messages are set up for families across the US. Call times are listed in Pacific time, so convert to your local time when you pick a slot.
What if I need to reschedule or change something?
Call 855-916-9921 and we will help you.
What if I don't see a time that works?
Live call times are limited to evenings on Tuesday and Thursday and weekend mornings (Pacific). If none fit, the Santa video message does not need a set time.

Devices and technology
What device do I need?
Any phone, tablet or computer with a camera, microphone and internet connection. No account or app sign-up is required to join.
Do I need a Google account?
No account is needed to join. Click the Meet link from your email at the time of the call.
Can we use a phone or tablet?
Yes. Phones and tablets work well. Prop the device up so your child can see Santa without holding it.
Can we cast the call to a TV?
You can join from a laptop or tablet and cast or connect it to a larger screen. Test that setup before your call so the sound and camera work.
What if my connection is weak or the call drops?
Test your connection beforehand and sit near your Wi-Fi router. If you have trouble joining, call 855-916-9921.
Personalized video message
What is the personalized Santa video message?
It is a personal video of about 30 seconds from Santa for your child. You share their name, age, wish list and fun facts, Santa records the video, and you get a private link to watch and download. It costs $19. Details here.
When will my video message arrive?
Orders are open now. Videos are delivered starting December 10 and within 3 days of ordering after that. Orders placed before December 10 arrive by December 13.
What is the last day to order a video message for Christmas?
December 21. Videos always arrive within 3 days, so an order placed on the last day is delivered in time for Christmas Eve.
How is the video delivered?
It is emailed to you as a private link. You can watch it online and download it to keep or share with family.
Is the video message live?
No. It is a recorded video made for your child. If you want a real-time conversation, book the live video call.
Can I get both a call and a video message?
Yes. You can order a message to build excitement and book a live call for the big conversation. They are separate orders.
